Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By requesting a quote, booking, or engaging TaskHer ("we," "us," "TaskHer") for services, you ("Client," "you") agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

TaskHer provides task-based household support, including but not limited to organizing, errands, small home projects, move-in and move-out support, event prep, and coordination with third-party service providers. The specific scope of any engagement will be described in the written quote or scope of work you approve prior to work beginning.

TaskHer does not perform services that require a professional trade license (including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general contracting). Where such work is needed, TaskHer may coordinate with a licensed third-party provider on your behalf; that provider is independently responsible for their own work.

3. Quotes, scheduling, and changes

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. Scheduling is confirmed once you have accepted the quote and any deposit has been paid. Changes or additions to the scope may result in an adjusted quote and timeline; TaskHer will communicate any material change before proceeding.

4. Payment

Payment terms are set out in your accepted quote. Unless otherwise stated, invoices are due within 7 days of completion. Late balances may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by Idaho law. Reasonable third-party costs approved by you (for example, materials or vendor fees) will be passed through at cost or as itemized in the quote.

5. Cancellation and rescheduling

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may be billed at up to 50% of the scheduled visit to cover held time.

6. Access and client responsibilities

You agree to provide safe, timely, and lawful access to any premises where work will be performed, and to communicate any known hazards, pets, security requirements, or fragile items. You confirm you have the right to authorize the services requested.

7. Limitations of liability

TaskHer performs all services with reasonable care and skill. However, to the maximum extent permitted by law, TaskHer's total liability for any claim arising out of a service engagement is limited to the amount paid by you for that specific engagement. TaskHer is not liable for pre-existing conditions, normal wear-and-tear, or damages caused by third-party vendors, product defects, or events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold TaskHer harmless from any third-party claims arising from your instructions, the condition of the premises, or your violation of these Terms — except to the extent caused by TaskHer's negligence or willful misconduct.

9. Confidentiality

TaskHer respects the privacy of your home and information. We will not share the details of your engagement publicly without your consent, except as required by law.

10. Photography

TaskHer may photograph completed work for internal quality tracking. Photographs are not shared publicly, on our website, or on social media without your express written permission.

11. Intellectual property

All content on the TaskHer website, including copy, brand marks, and imagery, is the property of TaskHer and may not be reproduced without written permission.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally first. Any remaining dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Ada County, Idaho.

13. Changes to these terms

TaskHer may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
