Why we built TaskHer
It all started with a running list. The kind everyone has — a broken drawer, a closet you can't open all the way, a picture you keep meaning to hang, your shed that needs organizing. It's always something no one in the house has time for, so it ends up as a sticky post-it note on the fridge.
We realized what people needed wasn't another handyman service or one more app to schedule. What they needed was one capable person they could hand their list to and trust to follow through. Someone who could tackle the smaller tasks, coordinate the bigger projects, and take the extra work off their plate.
We created TaskHer so you can finally throw away those sticky post-it notes from your fridge. With Amy, consider it handled.
Hi, I'm Amy Clark.
Amy Clark is the founder of TaskHer and has always been someone who likes to get things done. She loves figuring things out, solving problems, organizing the chaos, and seeing a project through from beginning to end. It's probably why she's been an entrepreneur in one way or another for most of her life.
Her career has taken her in plenty of directions. Amy has worked as both a wedding and a financial planner, plus owning a day spa and an auto parts store. It may sound like an unusual mix, but every chapter added to what she knows and what she can do. And she can usually figure out just about anything.
TaskHer brings all of that experience together with something Amy has always enjoyed: helping people. Her goal is simple: help people spend less time worrying about their to-do list and more time doing what they love.
Amy is proud to be a fifth generation Idaho native. When she isn't working she enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris. The two love to spend time outdoors and playing ice hockey.
